Im Alltag werden fast durchgängig Daten gesammelt – auch über uns, unsere Standorte und Aktivitäten. Im Workshop schauen wir uns an, welche Daten wir online teilen und machen uns mit bewährten Praktiken vertraut, um unsere Datenmenge online zu reduzieren. Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse notwendig, nur die Neugier auf Neues. Der Workshop ist auf Englisch, nach Bedarf mit Übersetzung ins Deutsche und Spanische und ist offen für Frauen, trans* und nicht-binäre Personen.

DIGITAL SELF-DEFENSE: TIPS, TOOLS AND HOW-TOs FOR SAFER ONLINE COMMUNICATIONS

In our day to day activities, data is sent around to provide information about our identity, locations and activities. In this workshop, we aim to gain knowledge on the amount of information that we share online and we will work together to learn some good practices to reduce the data footprint we leave behind.

No technical knowledge required, only curiosity to learn. The workshop will be held in English, with possibility of Spanish and German translation. The workshop is for women, trans* and non-binary persons.

En nuestras actividades diarias, constantemente enviamos y proporcionamos información que se pueden utilizar fácilmente para determinar nuestra identidad, ubicacion y actividades. En este taller, nuestro objetivo es obtener conocimiento sobre la cantidad de información que generamos y compartimos en línea y trabajaremos juntes para aprender algunas buenas prácticas para reducir la cantidad de datos que dejamos atrás.

No se requieren conocimientos técnicos, solo curiosidad de aprender. El taller se realizará en inglés, con posibilidad de traducción al español y alemán. Para mujeres, trans* y personas no binarias.
